Join us for a special community gardening morning at Ballajura Community Garden!
It’s not our usual sensory play session, this event is all about slowing down, connecting with nature and spending time within a beautiful local community space.
Children will be invited to explore simple, open-ended nature activities such as watering the garden, planting, digging and nature painting, while families enjoy a relaxed morning outdoors.
This session is designed to help little ones build confidence in natural environments, foster community connection and experience the joy of caring for living things.
A sausage sizzle will also be available on the day, hosted by the community garden volunteers. We’d love families to support the garden where possible by purchasing lunch while visiting (better than the big green shed?!).
