Who are we?
Hi, I’m Eve! The muddy hands, big heart and heavily caffeinated brain behind Mud Buddies Perth.
I run Mud Buddies with plenty of help from my partner, my fearless toddler sidekick, and a village of friends who never question why my car is full of buckets, flowers and random bits of nature.
I’m a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in disability care, which has given me a deep understanding of sensory needs, child development and the powerful role sensory play can have in early childhood.
Sensory play has always been part of my world, both professionally and at home, and combining it with my love for nature-based play felt like the most natural step.
After becoming a mum, I dreamed of creating a space where babies, toddlers and young children in Perth could explore freely through messy play, sensory activities and nature play.
A place where kids can follow their curiosity, where parents can exhale, and where nobody apologises for mess, noise, mud or big feelings.
A place that feels safe, welcoming and grounded, that’s built on community, connection and learning through play.
That dream became Mud Buddies Perth: a messy, magical, mud-splattered space where every child belongs, where nature leads the way, and where sensory play and messy play are celebrated in all their beautiful chaos.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your little Muddy Buddy into our growing community!
Let’s get muddy, make memories and embrace the mess together 💚
